Man has 2 tendencies - the good, & the bad. The good include virtues of kindness, love, humility, generosity, patience, gratitude, forgiveness, etc. The bad include the follies of greed, pride, jealousy, anger, sloth, etc. Men often vaccilate between the 2, sometimes following the good path, & at other times the wrong.

To follow vice is easy & comes naturally. It is ingrained in man’s nature. The challenge comes when man has to rise above his human qualities to something higher. It is at that time he will need to put an effort to adopt virtue. It’s not natural. It comes as a result of habit, practice, & a conscious effort to follow it. Only then does it become ingrained in him.

Being good is a cultivated habit !
